Diana Carter, Office Administrator

Our Administrative Secretary since 2012, this is Diana’s second church position.  For 13 years she was secretary at First Churches in Northampton. Looking for a job closer to her home in Belchertown, she went to work at a property management company in Amherst for 10 years then decided to retire.  After two months, she realized that retirement was not what she wanted so she looked for a part-time job at the same time as Immanuel was looking for a part-time secretary.

Born in Holyoke and raised in Chicopee, Diana attended Westfield State College and Weaver Airline School.  After graduating from airline school, she took a job with the CIA in Virginia.  In 1969 she married her husband, Butch.  They have a daughter, Tara, a son, Jason, a granddaughter Samantha, four cats, Spike, Maizy, Angel and Frances, and a Betta named Skye.
